Our only experience with the Gun Lake Casino Buffet was terrible! My family of six went for dinner as our children were excited to try something new!. My husband and I were excited as it is close to home for us!. The Gun Lake Casino first opened its doors in February 2011. Understandably so we did have a 15 minute wait (which was expected) as it is a busy place, But what did not expect to happen is to sit at a table for twenty plus minutes waiting for staff to take our drink orders. It is owned and operated by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians. The opening of this venue was delayed by a series of legal challenges. This casino recently benefited from an expansion that was completed in 2017. When we finally received our drinks we then proceeded to get food, My son refused to eat the Asian food because he saw a bug (it was fruit flies) so we sat down to eat and still NO silverware!! waited and waited then finally I took it upon myself to grad six sets myself!!. Never once were we asked if we needed refills or if the food was good.and the only thing that was hot & fresh was the pasta station, everything else was semi cold to cold and was not very presentable. I wished we had a better experience considering the price we paid!!. A better experience would be appreciated!.
